About Me

My name is Amanda Caroni. With Speak Now Bahia, I started teaching free English classes to help rural communities in Brazil learn the basics of the English language. The project was created by me, a teenager who moved from Brazil to the United States and wanted to give back to the communities in Brazil who helped me grow. The classes are designed to be fun and engaging while teaching the fundamentals of English grammar, conversation, and culture!
